SUBJECT: COMMERCIAL QUALIFICATION PROCEDURES AND SECURITY IN INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTIONS
Dear Sir or Madam,
INTERNATIONAL MEDIATION AND ARBITRATION CHAMBER LLC (IMAC) has been receiving an increasing number of requests related to the purchase and sale of commodities, mineral assets, agricultural products, investment projects, energy ventures, mining operations, and international trade opportunities.
Our commitment is to provide a secure, transparent, and efficient business environment for all parties involved.
For this reason, we have implemented commercial qualification procedures designed to protect buyers, suppliers, investors, and legitimate representatives seeking to conduct serious and successful business transactions.
These measures are not intended to create obstacles to legitimate business. On the contrary, they have been established to prevent situations that are unfortunately common in international trade, such as:
• Buyers without proven financial capacity;
• Suppliers
lacking legitimacy or authorization to sell;
• Intermediaries operating without formal
mandates;
• Excessive requests for documentation without genuine intent to
negotiate;
• Loss of time caused by commercial speculation;
• Risks of fraud, document forgery, and contractual non-compliance.
Accordingly, IMAC may request identification documents, proof of financial capability, letters of intent, corporate documents, commercial references, or other information necessary to properly qualify the parties involved.
These procedures benefit all participants in the transaction.
Serious buyers gain confidence that they are being introduced to legitimate and previously evaluated suppliers.
Serious suppliers have the assurance that they will not be sharing strategic information with individuals or entities that lack the genuine capacity to purchase.
Serious investors gain access to opportunities that are better organized, properly structured, and aligned with international standards of compliance and corporate governance.
Furthermore, IMAC is implementing an International Commercial Accreditation Program through which buyers, suppliers, investors, and companies may complete their compliance and document validation processes in advance.
Once approved, accredited participants may become part of IMAC’s International Opportunity Network and benefit from streamlined procedures in future transactions, significantly reducing the need to resubmit documentation for each new opportunity.
We firmly believe that serious business requires transparency, responsibility, and mutual trust.
The requirements we have adopted are not obstacles; they are protective mechanisms designed to safeguard the time, resources, and reputation of all parties involved.
We appreciate your understanding and remain at your disposal to assist in building secure, productive, and long-lasting business relationships.
Sincerely,
IMAC | BUSINESS SECURITY DIVISION
